The update schedule is once every fourth Friday, and while once a month doesn't sound bad it quickly becomes so when you realize that's only for a half or third chapter, and two to three months per chapter makes this feel like a novel promotional work that nobody cares to work on.

Now get this: What if “Overlord,” but everyone is basic? We’ll also ditch the MMO backstory with the MC having his roots in player driven history and culture for some single player post-game rts where MC customized a bunch of female NPCs. Plus a few de-monstered Nazerick knock-offs for gender equality. And we can dump the perspective jumping in Overlord to just follow MC as he discovers the thrillingly original manga plot of “humans liars, non-humans cool.”

All that said, this might end up okay. Get some intrigue outside that abandoned plain MC’s castle found itself in, and maybe trade some of Overlord’s monster-edge for more grounded medieval anime/fantasy, and maybe it will become something decent. But so far this looks like Overlord after trading in the unique bits for basic dweeby gamer wish fulfillment.

At least Ainz had a good reason, being a skeleton and all, but here you have a human man surrounded by baddies who are throwing themselves at him but of course he does the whole "doing seggs would make me a pervert!" I bet at some point there will be deep romantic interest in him and he'd the gag again or turn them down for "not being good enough" for her, despite being the most powerful man anywhere. Remove harem tag and add comedy because this man child MC is a joke.
