The woman is just abusing a person she knew wouldn't say not to her de facto freeloading. I mean, at least try to give a timeline, explain what the hell is happening to the best you can or feel comfortable with, if you're not going to pay you should at least talk imo. Instead she just goes " lol remember when you pegged me 20 years ago? well time to cash in, let me crash at your place with my daughter and let me not tell a single thing , also feed us both thanks :^)". I feel bad for the guy

man maybe something's wrong with me but i like this kind of light-hearted, family-centered slice of life type manga? like sure, in real life what kyou is doing is a huge asshole move, but this isn't real life so i'm just going to enjoy watching how the relationships between the characters develop over time i hope they stay friends but even if they go the romance route i think i'll have a good time

Easy. Daughter will be one, who develop crush on MC. You can already see blushing on his kindness this chapter. That's usual first step.

The artist does have a history of drawing questionable art of little girls, so it's not exactly impossible.
Not saying I want it to happen, just stating what the artist has done before so people get an idea.

I'm convinced this is one of those Governement backed manga whose focus is to make the idea of having a family appealing to teenagers / young adult in Japan. Look at how even getting a fake wife and a kid in the house will make the life of our MC 120% more fulfilling even if his expenses shoot up too, but that's aliright folks, he will just have to work a bit more.
I think its going to slow down a lot here. Out of curiosity I kept an eye on the hate-rates. iirc when last chapter dropped there were around 165 1-star ratings, so only 10 more since then.So what's the over/under on incel comments this time
My money would be on <100 total comments.
