Honestly, I expect a couple of things to happen

1. They do move out. The daughter realizes the mother was happier living with MC and tells her it's okay to have a relationship with MC.
2. The father shows up. The mother and daughter were hiding from an abusive guy. MC happens to be there, stands up for them and probably gets his ass kicked but the girls escape.

I'm surprised that you guys are sure that her daughter will always be against them. She's been bonding with him all the time, and last chapter made her stance pretty clear: "I should be happy, but I'm sad." She doesn't have an intellectual problem with it, but more something in her gut. Probably because there's just so much happening at once.
I am interested to learn more about the father. He has been a non-presence so far, making me wonder what's going on there. There doesn't seem to be any resentments or attachments for either of them at all.

What does the mother do, does she have other family, why aren't they there, what happened with the dad (did he die or did they break up), why is the daughter so prickly? I feel like if it goes the simple he becomes dad and the mom stays it will be underwhelming. I'm expecting the reason they broke up before to come up at least once.
