I honestly don’t know how to feel after reading all 8 chapter, a mix of frustration amid the otherwise cozy manga atmosphere? Something about it just doesn’t sit right with me, like im having a Domestic Girlfriend déjà vu. Guess I’ll wait for more updates.

I think it's just somewhat flawed, it's like when you reread older manga and think with frustration "why is that violent tsundere beating MC for seeing her naked when she was the one who walked on him? Is that what people thought is cute romance?". This has kinda similar problem with author making MC too wishy-washy and mother-daughter pair bit too bratty/unreliable, which makes it frustrating, but people who keepreading it for cute and wholesome found family probably don't mind that much, just like once people kept reading ecchi violent tsundere romcoms.

Still no progress… this chapter didn’t show anything new, no plot progress and no relationship progress. Maybe the daughter opening up about her laundry hobby can be considered as progress ? But that’s still very slow

we know she pays the groceries at least, as we know she's a glutton, at least we can say she's not a leech, that's some progress... at least as we have less comments it proves that hate read will diminish
