Good work.

Yeah, I'm less confident about using the webnovel for predictions.

How this went in the webnovel:

Kent held back like usual, did better than in earlier duels with Gilik, but got knocked out. Then, in the infirmary, Muell gives Kent sleeping medicine instead of magic recovery medicine accidentally. Then, in a scene sometime later, Kent has a not holding back fight where he beats Gilik like this in front of Muell.

Also, Kent got Gigawolf familiars probably a hundred chapters later than this (the acquisition was forgettable, an ally informs Kent about Gigawolves attacking a village, then he sends his skeletons to find them, unceremoniously kills them, and revives them).

Greatly anticipating Operation Meisa soon.

TY for the updates! :glee:

It's still throwing me off with so many changes from the WN.

I think using gigawolfs to move the carriages makes more sense, but originally he used lizardmen. Originally he didn't get gigawolfs as familiars until way after freeing all the classmates from Lastock, and even then he never uses them to pull a carriage. The only gigawolf used to pull a carriage is a tamed juvenile one that pulls the Guild Headmaster's carriage.

NGL, Gilik really needs to be beat until he gets that anger out of his system. I'm all for the school of hard knocks, but even with healing available you dont beat newbies till you brake bones. Not only is it counter productive, the only thing it teaches is pain and frustration.

Thank you!

Wow seems like the manga changed a lot of storyline as compared to the web novel.

Operation Miesa = hide and seek in the dark? :meguusmug:

Well, there is a Light Novel version out as well, it's most likely the change was made in that version first.

Just wait until he gets to chapter 30 and you'll see for yourself, hooo boy, It looks like the mangaka did it justice! I'm laughing like Reinhardt.

Please let me know if you spot any inconsistencies! Enjoy the read everyone! :win:

Donovan: I will not allow any personal battle.
Also Donavan: Watches the whole personal battle.
:questionblob::questionblob::questionblob:
page 30 :
"sorry Kento, could you carry me to the infirmary?"
should be
"sorry Kento, could you carry HIM to the infirmary?"
tis the sister asking, as the brother is sleeping.

Don't compare the manga to the WN. A web novel is how the writer envisions the story. A WN doesn't care much about "selling rules" and goes freely.
When we talk about adaptations, what we have to consider is the LN.
I always make the same example to explain this thing: Overlord.
We almost all know about Albedo, Ains right-hand woman. But in the WN, she doesn't exist. And many other events don't follow how they went in the WN.
So, my advice is to not compare WN and manga and lose your marbles because it's different.

Also, I'm now somewhat aware that "will you become my subordinate?" is the japanese unchad version of "ARISE"....don't think I'll be able to not see it anymore
