Better now than later I suppose. But there's another batch of possible dumb-dumbs he's gonna rescue, hopefully the previous rescues could act and show them the ropes instead of everyone relying on Kento once again.

What's up with the entitlement in this manga? Why do all the assholes classmates assume they should all bend over backwards for them? Even in the modern world, you won't get breakfast at a hotel if you show up hours after breakfast time has ended.

They've likely always been dependents and haven't had any form of independence. Being forced to train and being a slave when they were initially brought over, to now being under Kento's care where they are basically children who don't need to worry about food or board. Even in this world guys can live into their 40s without working if their parents don't kick them out, especially with the hikikomori problem in Japan.

Being left with no one to support you but yourself can push a lot of people to finally get that independent streak, for the more wily girls who thought they were more or less covered by Kento, or at least thought that they could make him continue to cover them by guilting him they don't believe that can end. They really just don't understand how the world is. That and they were top of the totem pole before coming to this world and assume that dynamic is still intact.

Onto changes from web novel:

• Kent had checked on the boys as they worked on the wall, where Klaus was speechifying them.
• In the WN, Manon pinched Kent's sides. Kent's love interests are really a lot kinder in adaptation. Yuika was seriously bullying Kent into a relationship by this point, for instance. I do think the meanness of the love interests was one of the major flaws of the series.
• It's probably just the mangaka rather than the novel, but gunpowder is not common around Volzart (people in Reisenburg are even surprised by it's existence), so the cannons on page 21 shouldn't be there.
• Booster originally leaves you PARALYZED for three days. As in, people have to take you to the bathroom by hand... fun. Kukuku it was totally worth it (my favorite arc).
• Salamanders had been hyped up by the minor antagonist Flamehound adventurers, who sacrificed a water mage as cannon fodder to kill one.

That is where we start seeing other sides of Kent's personality. I've said before, Kent doesn't come into his own until that point. We are going to see an ambitious Kent, an authoritative Kent. Amongst other traits I won't spoil. Basically, Kent hasn't found his purpose/personal goal yet, that becomes clear by WN chapter 128. He's still reacting to things right now.
