I find it odd how many of these stories feature skills that are godlike with some effort, but never get recognized as more than it's base point. Do none of these folks ever try?

Nobody ever put effort into these abilities in the history of the world till now?

And I get that he needed 2000 years to master it, but still... It always seems weird how these abilities can be recognized as pure crap by everyone until the MC manages to put effort in or use creative thought and "oh my, suddenly it is good".

I'm overthinking it, but it is the core concept of alot of these.
It's not like the amount of effort he put into it is required to make it useful. Even if you can barely push objects off the table, if you're clever you can find some good uses for your skill. And if you continue polishing it as you age it's bound to be very handy.
So you can poke things with magic. The first thing that comes to mind is poking someone's brain with it, making them nauseous and probably puking. And this one is obvious, surely you can find many other uses even outside of combat.

Besides, his effort was achieved through a complete lottery. This manga is not really any different from any other where the MC gets an OP skill/item/knowledge through sheer luck. And nothing he did is achievable through normal means by anyone else.

The key issue is time needed to master the skill.

In every series that has the plot of "MC has crap skill, but after training for XXX years, he becomes unrivaled".
The biggest issue is always the "years" needed to master the skill.

I mean, i don't remember reading a single series yet, where the MC has a crap skill, but after training hard for 5-20 years, he is able to become over powered, which should be a realistic scenario.

The base for the training hard part is always 100 years or more in these type of plot.

I mean, a Human lives for 60-90 years on average.
If a person has to train hard for more than their average lifespan to master a skill, then it's actually a useless skill no matter what anyone says.

Like in this series case, it took MC 2000 years of hard training under the Goddess to master his skill to the highest possible level.
Yeah, he got the cheat situation of time-flow being different between the Mortal World and Goddess World.
But realistically, for any other Telekinesis users, it's a impossible task to achieve.
Even if we consider that MC had no talent at all which is why it took him 2000 years to master his skill. But that doesn't mean a genius with the same skill would be able to achieve the level in their lifetime either.

So, i would say people mocking and underestimating the Telekinesis skill aren't wrong either, as realistically it is impossible for any human to achieve it's potential in their lifetime unless they fall in some unexpected scenario like MC in this series did.

I am surprised that Emma's parents allowed her to look after a comatose boy for 6 years.

Must've gotten quite a severance to keep her mouth shut about them killing their son
Considering the setting, i doubt anyone would even question them for killing their son (as they could easily claim he accidentally died during a dual), so don't think there was any extra pay to her for the disposal of the body and keeping silence.

I mean why bother giving extra for silencing, when they could just kill them for complete eraser.

Just depends on how cutthroat the world is ig as well as if there skill users who can detect lies. Also just killing her wouldn't solve everything since it might need even more death (her parents for one) to cover it up which would lead to even more trouble versus just giving them some cash as an incentive to not make a fuss.

Considering how Noble's look down on Commoners in this series, i doubt anyone would really question a Noble killing a Commoner.
So, killing multiple people for hiding the truth isn't going to cause issue if the ones being killed are Commoners.
In MC's case, his biggest flaw was him having Telekinesis Skill, which already made him useless in front of the Noble Society. And he apparently died during a Duel, which become a valid reasonings for killing him, since death during a Duel is usually considered acceptable in Noble society.
Considering that they openly cheated during the Duel, just to make sure MC loses, suggest that they specifically chose the Duel to get rid of him, as getting rid of him in other way might have caused issues (i mean, why even bother with doing the duel if they already planned to dispose him).
