It is because of plot. We know black haired dudes will kill them all.…the MC is doing that thing where he is drawing out the sentencing. This is dangerous. They have like 5 other people in their group and the two strongest are there. He shouldn’t have even heard them out, the only ones he should have even maybe listened to an explanation from are the leaders.
Taking more time to accomplish this is just going to allow for more time for the evil group to track down Seras and potentially have a hostage. Or MC getting snuck up on.
Hopefully it’s not what I’m thinking but the group has numbers, its probably not going to go smoothly.
Thanks for the translation!!
Nah that sounds almost pathological and paranoid what you are saying here. It's not realistic at all what was displayed in this chapter and I think what u described is worlds apart. Introducing rice is hatred ? You can't be real. Japanese manga are so popular BECAUSE they include heir own culture and hold it in high regard. They have character and soul unlike many western products. If you think this is unrealistic, then you're living in a bubble. This is current affairs. And when people engage in large scale hatred, humor/mockery is a frequent part of it.
All large successful civilizations have words which equate to "barbarian". E.g. "gaijin". And you'll see mockery as well. E.g. ever notice the preponderance of clownish characters with freakishly cleft in chins in Japanese manga. E.g. that kid that Saitama meets in One Punch Man. Western world: cleft chin is pretty normal. Japan: Cleft chin is freaky and to be mocked. Or notice that when Japanese is Isekaied into some other world, then 2/3 of the time they end up introducing rice, miso and sushi? Insular much?
Looking down on, even loathing people from other regions is quite normal in the world.
I mean... that's all 100% accurate, but let's recall that it isn't present everywhere. If you think this is unrealistic, then you're living in a bubble. This is current affairs. And when people engage in large scale hatred, humor/mockery is a frequent part of it.

Have fun with this arc, then.Wow.
I'm so glad those two made their evil speech about evil things and about how evil they are for being evil.
I definitely wouldn't have guessed that genocide was bad unless they had told me how evil they were!
What a fucking waste of ink those ten pages were; could have advanced the plot, but no.....
Nowhere have they shown where a demi-human has turned into a golden-eyed monster. The human-faced monsters don't look like the demihumans so far.Hmm, well that's better. Demi-humans can become extreme dangers like Psykers in 40k. That adds some nuance to this.
Human-faced monsters are something completely different, they're golden eye monsters who killed so many humans that they evolved. And the Soul Eater is also something in its own category.Nowhere have they shown where a demi-human has turned into a golden-eyed monster. The human-faced monsters don't look like the demihumans so far.
