@Salfaro Being a user makes people think that the beast person is under control. A friend is free to do what they want. It is stupid, but beast people have a unique language, have a different culture though it looks somewhat similar imo. We all know how the unaccomplished want to feel superior to other simply based on the luck that they were born in a specific place, race, religion, intellect and ability. I'm sure these people see beast people as the intermediary between humans and beasts/monsters and monsters aren't big on civilization, science and growth so the humans may think beastmen are similar, but I think its that beast people are probably not greedy

Why is Croquet dressed like a maid? Even if the dress is in style she also has the apron in front and the headband. I wonder if that woman who gave them the sugar is a priestess or something. Clothes seemed a bit fancier and adorned then the usual peasant clothes. Glad to see somebody had some common courtesy and gratitude. Although was the kid crying because she was a catgirl, was too close to somebody didn't know, or shock from almost falling headfirst into the ground finally sunk in?

@UnknownSaint111 Not enough info to say for certain but it seems like he's only retained his knowledge but not memories. So can talk like an adult, remember about the nutritional value and preparation of rice, etc. but doesn't remember having found the information from a book, learning it in class, or anything like that. Might or might not find out why later. Could be his processing from previous life to this one had a few mistakes or hiccups occur resulting in the memory loss but still retaining previous world's knowledge.
