Honestly, what a mood. I love that nerd shit is popular and not stigmagtized like it used to be but man I'm still wary of outing myself as a complete nerd. Too much past trauma I suppose.

I'm glad I've gotten over sharing the sentiment that 'normies' have appropriated the culture though.

Sure why not. I see FE and Haruhi get mentioned (along with Kyoto Ani, shoutout to them), so I'll stick around and see where this goes.

Thank you for the translation.

I thought the story will be him reliving his high school days but was a bit surprised he's going to be shifting back & forth. It is going be a butterfly effect & honestly I'm all for it. Some of the stuff he says is true since the mid 2000s, liking anime & manga was always seen as something only children would do which were sad times for many. Anyways I look forward to seeing popular stuff be referenced & be reminded how old I am. Thanks for the translations.

Genuinely painful translation. I understand going for an effect or slang not translating well, but it's overdone. Stop shoehorning aged "modern" english slang everywhere. It's like watching an out-of-touch elderly person pretend to be trendy. It also won't age well.

It's okay to use the original japanese terms or speech patterns. You aren't catering to "normies" here on mangadex dot org (or maybe you are).
Otherwise pretty good art, but recycled dogshit premise with no weight behind it. The MC might as well be a cardboard cutout with generic loser qualities stapled to him.
