Having them trounce it so easily, and give the same amount of EXP that the high demon they struggled so much against, is kinda funny. Especially when iirc, they only got one level up from killing the high demon, and none since then. I guess you could say it's from their new classes, but it still feels a little goofy.

I don't think they gained a new class (like swordsman to cleric), but they gain a new star once they max out their levels. The Spirit God Rozen wouldn't grant Allens wish to move everyone from normal mode to hard mode but he would allow them to gain a new class by leveling up their stars (three star Sword Master to four star Sword King) once they maxed out their level by granting them the ability to gain a new star, which allowed them to retain half their current stats and their previous skills and skill levels and start at level 1 for the new star level (3 star lv 60 to 4 star lv 1) with the new star class (Kind of like porting a character over from a previous version of a game where you lose half stats but retain your skills).

Example Kurena:
3 star Sword Master (Level 60; Attack 2440 + 1800) with skill (swordsmanship (Level 6)) got promoted to 4 star Sword King (Level 1; Attack 1220) with skill (swordsmanship (Level 6)) and with the new star she also gained a few new skills (Sword King (Level 1) and Heavy Slash (Level 1) with two rings of Attack +1000 each).

When she fought the White Dragon the reason it was so easy was because she had leveled her new star class from level 1 to level 45 (4 star Sword King (Level 45; Attack 2980 + 1220) and she leveled up her new skills from level 1 to level 4 (swordsmanship (Level 6); Sword King (Level 4) and Heavy Slash (Level 4); Heaven & Earth Breaker (Level 4); Counter Strike (Level 4); and Enhance (Level 1) with two rings of attack +1000 each), giving her better stats than when she fought the Demon General at Level 60.

NOTE: the manga doesn't show how she raised her level from Level 1 to Level 45, I will assume that when they returned to school, they reran a few of the dungeons or went to the forest and fought monsters.

She has also mastered her unique skill Limit Break and when combined with Heavy Slash (Level 4) it creates an unstoppable and powerful blow to the White Dragon. Where when she fought the Demon General and tried to utilize her unique skill Limit Break and when combined with Heavy Slash (Level 1) it had no effect until the Spirit God Rozen imbued her with the Spirit Kings Blessing granting her a +30% increase to her stats making her attack (Attack 2440 + 1800 to Attack 3172 + 2340) and each of the two Attack +1000 rings went to Attack +1300) really high.

The High Demon in question is the one that get one shotted by Doradora while spamming "Heal...Heal... I can't" in chapter 51, not the "Demon General" like Leezel or "High General" like Cubel.
