As you can see, the chapters have all been uploaded by different people. I've already reported all the existing chapters to add the volume numbers, so it should be fixed as soon as the mods get to it.I appreciate the mass update... but can KS Group please decide to either use volume numbers or not? Chapters 62 thru 72.1 are all in the "No Volume" group, so the chapters are out of order now.
Yeah... after I found out the 12 person MD team handles every single report themselves, I started using comments to gripe about groups increasing their workload. As you can see, the chapters have all been uploaded by different people. And if that was an option for me, I would've obviously done that. Since I don't have a direct line to any of those people, I did what I could and made the reports. It'll be slow, but I expect it'll get done eventually.Yeah... after I found out the 12 person MD team handles every single report themselves, I started using comments to gripe about groups increasing their workload.
To be precise... I think YOU did a good job. You accurately put in all the chapter info... even the chapter titles. Well done!
I'm just hoping you can tell Contributor and Arin-san to stop slacking. (and if it's possible for the uploader to update chapter info, ask them to come handle it instead of relying on the mods.)
Ah... I guess they left the group? SorrySince I don't have a direct line to any of those people
More like they're both power uploaders who don't belong to any group. Arin-san hasn't had any activity since 10 months ago and I suspect that Contributor is (now) a generic bot (given both the name and the uploads that account has been doing these days) that at the very least has no forum counterpart.Ah... I guess they left the group? Sorry![]()
30,000 were evac'd, 600,000 were left behind with the 1million cultists turned monstersThis comic really likes tossing numbers around. 1 million cultists in a single place is a bit less than half the total (registered) inhabitants of the capital city of Rome. Evacuating 600,000 people is more than 60 times the population of the town I live in.
Just how big was that square? Nearly two million people gathered into a single open spot is quite a lot. It makes me wonder just what it was used for when they weren't executing people. While there have been gatherings in our world that large, it's worth noting that these are all from the late 20C onward. Even having cities with populations that large at all would be rare, given the pseudo-medieval setting. There were maybe two or three cities in the world with populations in the seven-digit range at a given time up until the 18C or so, and often just one at a time. This comic really likes tossing numbers around. 1 million cultists in a single place is a bit less than half the total (registered) inhabitants of the capital city of Rome. It funny to me. This has the opposite problem that a lot of Sci-Fi has where numbers are way lower than they should be. Like an intergalactic empire that spans the entire universe with a population measured in only the billions. Or the Cardassian occupation of Bajor in Deep Space 9, where 15 million Bajorians died over the course of 50 years. The writers thought that sounded like a lot but it's not even as bad as car deaths in the US or annual rate of flu deaths. Sci-fi writers suck with scale and this guy is just going the other way with it.Just how big was that square? Nearly two million people gathered into a single open spot is quite a lot. Human brains don't really handle numbers that large all that well. With millions of combatants in a single battle, numbers like this start to become just background noise, largely meaningless. it's much like the quote misattributed to Sen. Dirksen: "A billion here, a billion there, pretty soon, you're talking real money."
Car accidents still deadly??
Bajorans are notoriously terrible drivers. They're just awful at it. That's their 'hat': Klingons are all about honour, Vulcans are all about logic and having a big stick up their ass, and Bajorans are all about fender-benders, especially due to road rage. There's no way that Lt Shaxs hasn't intentionally driven a car into something, or someone, maybe a couple of crowds.Car accidents still deadly??
I have to wonder how many of those crashes on Cardassian Familyday were actually accidents. They're all terrorists, the lot of them.Bajorans are notoriously terrible drivers.
