Oh, I saw this on Twitter and I've been very interested in it! Thank you very much for translating it, I look forward to more!!

According to Manga Mogura's post, it's based on a novel. But another commenter said it's basically from a net creepypasta, so hmm...

Edit: I just checked the given link (spoilers beware) and although it wrapped up the mystery of the house pretty nicely, that wasn't the end. In the end, it said "full story in the book" so yes, it is from a book lol.

Cool story
Reading it with the link at first I thought it was some kind of pedo stuff with the frequent guests and windowless children's room. Then when they moved to the bathroom I thought it was probably blackmail by the parents by clicking a pic of the guest with a child in the bathroom. But the assassin angle is also pretty dope!

Thanks for the chapter!! What i noticed myself was the weird winding way yo get to the child's bedroom, which wasted a lot of space, and how empty and sparse it seemed compared to its size, i still think its size is quite odd, it would be better to hide and control the child if it was smaller, and comfort was clearly not something they were worried about

I have invested considerable effort in translating this chapter into English, kindly consider liking this comment as a form of encouragement to provide me with additional motivation. Thank you.
hey! thanks for translating this manga. It was super interesting and I'm already invested in the mystery. just want to know if you're gonna continue translating it?

I apologize for the delayed response. Of course, I will continue to translate, currently rearranging my schedule and real-life work to make time for the translation.

As an architect I find some spaces that is odd like:
1. The kitchen is obstructed by 2 doors in order to reach the dining ( carrying the food to the dining is so hassle.)
2. The 1st floor bedroom has no window( ventilation).
3. On the 2nd floor the most disturbing is the children’s room on the center because the room is lacked of window even the toilet had none which gives me an impression that the purpose of the room is to isolate a person.
4. Another thing I notice is in order to access the children’s room you need to pass the masters bedroom then a hallway.
5. This is only my personal preference when designing is that I always put at least one natural ventilation on a room to lessen the consumption of electricity for natural light, to avoid odors and mold.

OK... As the husband of an architect I have a huge complaint about the two floor plans. This house shouldn't be bought not because it has a mystery, but because THERE ARE NO LOAD BEARING WALLS INSIDE. I mean, look at all the walls and how they're placed. None of the 1st floor walls connect all the way up to the roof. The balcony is just hanging there without outside support. Basically, the only load-bearing structures holding up the roof are the external walls, and they're full of openings. Not only that, all the windows are not aligned with those above them. Japan is a major earthquake zone! AAAAARGH!!!! Who even designs a house like this??!!!
Also... Does Japan not have laws about bedroom egress in case of fire or something? Pretty sure where I live, it is mandatory that all bedrooms have at least 1 window.

I did notice the weird entrance into the children's room. But not that it had no windows.

And thank god you did. This is one of the few mangas that has me hook on it from the first chapter
