No progress (they dont even really confessed, not to mention dating) after 70+ chapters, when spinoff is like trainwreck moving forward after 5 chapters - and now it will be less chapters even? Shingeki no eroko is doing light-years progress compared to this. The male MC of that series has already confessed, and we're only on chapter 5.

I just feel that it's weird that this series, which showcases an older male trying to get together with a younger female, isn't as successful as the spinoff, where the age category are reversed.

Well, I hate when an author put a series on hiatus to focus on a new one, but I'm liking Eroko so far, so I'm torn on the matter. Probably the best option is to put an end to Henjo since the slow pace of progress is starting to become annoying (although I don't know how the story progressed in the raws).
