exactly. that's literally the point lmao. mc still hasn't even figured out shit and the villain is hogging all screen time. that's the most inefficient storytelling ever. reading this is a waste of time since i'm here for the mc, not the villain. imagine waiting for a month only to read 50% of villian's bullshit and 0% mc progress.

On Page 5, bottom right, I think he means “so condescendingly” rather than “sarcastically”, since saying something in such a pompous way doesn’t really make much sense if also said sarcastically, imo lol.

Well, in their perspective, how couldn’t he?? Lol. Guess while it’s kind of logical to say that and draw the conclusion of “power isn’t everything” as the moral from the history book, it’s probably still very unorthodox to even come to that conclusion without his past life’s knowledge. Possible though, for sure. Still just rare and not seen as normal.

If you mean if they were conceited from the beginning…don’t think so. There were many times where it was shown he was hesitant, so at least he isn’t fully leaning into the idea of being a total asshole (yet, maybe, lol).

Nostalgia, or most likely could just be that he’s just reliving the sensation that he’s only ever known in his previous life. I mean, not wrong, I guess. It’s inefficient, but some stories are just slow like that. Some need it to develop further in a way that wouldn’t make sense if they rushed it. They can go more into detail for some characters too. Fair opinion tho if you’re following this actively and after the wait you just don’t get very far tho, lol.
