Dear translators of this version,
Please consider translating his name as 'Ragnar' or 'Ragnarr' instead. 'Ragna' is the female form of that name, and the MC is presented as a cis male.
'Ragnar' is modern, 'Ragnarr' more historical.
I am aware that doesn't fit 100% with the Japanese, but it is close enough and it is more important to be immersive than faithful, in my humble opinion.

Looking at the raws, his name is "ラグナ" = "Ragna." On the other hand "Ragnar" would have been "ラグナー." Why should we name him differently from how the author intended?

Also - at least based on what I've Googled - "Ragna" is only feminine if you look at it from a Scandinavian perspective. This is a different world; why does it have to follow the naming conventions of our world? Also, it's not as if our world hasn't played it loose when it comes to (typically) gendered names. I therefore can't see how having a name that is considered feminine in one part of our world can diminish immersion in a fictional story that takes place in a different universe.

@ManWhoStaresAtGoats Having read the credits page, I just want to say thank you for your passion. Having read a metric fuckton of manga on this site, I can tell you that that kind of passion towards the work is a pretty good sign that a scanlator will be good at what they do (or will fairly quickly become good at it), and you've definitely done a solid job here.

Thanks for all your work.

People saying the other translation is not bad must be blind. Translation-wise, sure, it's not bad. But they're using a fucking sans serif for typesetting, and the text placement is all over the place. You're calling it good?

Often what resulted is that people would read the QnD slop then pick up the better quality stuff to archive. Which actually had analogues to the fansubbing side of things where some group did barely passable subs but were out an hour or two after the airing, while other more reputable groups got their nicely TL'd, edited, typesetted and well encoded releases half a day to a day later.
I skimmed the whole thread. I feel like no one was talking about typesetting. Is typesetting dead? It genuinely upsets me when people use sans serif for comics, but it seems like people are accepting it. Sigh, why are they bickering over nothing instead of supporting this group to increase scanlation quality?
