I was saying that it also pops up as Feminine in Finnish. Honestly if you want to go real deep in name origins, you'll be led on a sticky trail. Ragnarok has side meaning from old Norse. From Regin (Gods, dealing of) and Rok, tales/fate. Ragna is typically a form from Regin, and is usually interpretted less as Gods and more as Counsel/wisdom form them when used as the feminine name.

There have been around 140 people named Ragna in Finnish since we started recording name usage. Of said 140, 40 were men and 100 were women. Currently, there are maybe 80 people named Ragna, of which around 20 are men.
Saying it "pops up" as a Finnish name is bit of a misconception, when finding someone named such, would be similar to finding a needle in a haystack, on the moon. Even then, it is a Swedish name and not a Finnish name per se.

Yet the outside is portrayed as a wilderness and not a vast sprawling farmland, which it should be. Not to mention if 80% of the population is inside said city, the remaining 20% can't feed them, unless they are all farmers with teleportation magic to handle the transportation and also apply modern industrial farming methods and probably don't eat themselves anything they grow.
Mayhap the WN/LN portrays the outskirts better, but I judge only what I see here.

Gotcha. Didn't dig in super hard for naming source on that side, not sure why Finnish appeared before Swedish.
Still, makes it even funnier that there is male usage of a traditionally more feminine name (at almost 1/3rd usage) in Finnish, even if it isn't Finnish in origin.
Makes the complaint from SchultzD even dumber in my eyes.

Yeah, that is the name of it. I read it more than 7 years ago, so I don't remember much, except for that I сould call it a decent entertaining manga, if it wasn't for that name

You can kind of understand the Dostojevsky reference, but could've still with minimal effort feminized the name, since the language allows it.

I have a similar experience with a Simo Häyhä manga, where the 30 something man was turned into a silver haired teen girl for reasons. They even lampshade the name, but it's still just "no". Follow Strike Witches' example and change the names. When a shameless fanservice series does a better job than you, what is your excuse?
