"Use this if he misbehaves" she said as she casually hands a collar.

The maid is handing over collar, and the butler prepared protection.
The House, nay, the entire house is expecting a healthy, able-bodied successor.

Mc casually stripping the teacher is hilarious :pepela:

I hope for more fluff between the two tbh....
I tried getting into the webnovel and I had to stop after the mc beat the fire demon dude. The mc is stupidly op, his magic allows him to create barriers in any shape and moderately sized with extreme durability, including making armor that block stupidly op magic. Why yes they gave mc a background as to how he could be that op, at a not-that-convincing level. This removed most of the tension for me because mc could steamroll everyone.

I kept reading because I hoped the dynamic between fmc and mc would be nice, it turned out to be quite weird. Instead of focusing on small moments between the two, fmc didn't do much besides glazing him and repeating the odd dog collar joke with him, making the entire relationship feel weird and forced.

It might get better after this but lost my interest in continuing, and it looks like the manga would be skipping many things like it did with the dragon, so this is gonna be a bumpy ride

Something small that bothers me for no reason is that the description says that 1 million people live in the city. I’m gonna have to call bs unless we get to see some suburbs.
Just a joke

Eh, I would have preferred if the story focused on them still living in the frontier, slowly getting closer, and her exploits in the frontier slowly overshadowing her bad fame. I'll still read it, but it feels like it's heading for the usual with this type of format.

-Tests a noble from the frontier, where they have to fight daily to survive, in combat
-Is surprised that he can fight
Yeah, the thing is,
80% of the kingdom population live inside the capital, protected by the barrier. Most of the outside isn't developed at all. Because of that barrier, nobody can take the country, and most of them don't even try.
For that reason, common sense linked to war are lost here. People see MC as a bum, not as a warrior.

And now i remember why I stopped reading the novel version. That collar gag wasn't funny the first time but the author beats the joke to death by using it all the time and it gets annoying FAST.

Yeah, sending these characters to yet another bootleg Hogwarts feels like such an absolute waste of the basic premise.

Based on other comments, it seems the author doesn't just drop the ball, they fling it into a landfill. Hopefully the manga will course correct somewhat?

It's good as a time killer, but they really couldn't be bothered to draw other students huh
They couldn't be bothered to draw a city big enough for population of a million or more people where a railroad exists.
Really depends on the translator, Japanese doesn't make difference between L and R, in the raws, his name is ラグナ, so depending on the translator, it can either be Lagna or Ragna.
The translator (and, quite possibly, the author) should've added an 'r' in the end, so that it wouldn't be a girl's name.
