Kira forming a unit with others and getting really close and along with them: so nice, what a good sister, that promise is still up she is just waiting for her Onee while she shoves all her selfish unrealistic lies of expectations onto her.

Sera who was left behind and finally broke under the pressure of delivering when she never truly was seen for who she is by Kira, forced to see Kira live her best life and is now finally taking a first step even if being manipulated: hope you burn in hell for mentally breaking and being taken advantage of! Kira not trying to stop the manipulation but Sera’s ambitions is so sad she deserves better!

The obvious problem I'm seeing is that, while all this unfolding is objectively good for both sisters because Sera has been crushed by their impossible promise and Kira needs a reality check and to see her sister for who she really is, the manga doesn't seem to portray the situation that way. In the last panel, Sera looks absolutely miserable

Breaking the sisters’ codependency is definitely a good thing, but I think the symbolism of Sera simply switching out one choker for another means that she hasn’t self-actualized just yet. She’s still trying to fill the void of self-esteem with external validation. An extremely vulnerable position to be sure.

We definitely haven’t seen rock bottom for Sera yet.

This has been interesting because it would be easy for the author to make Kyapi into just an evil antagonist character that is standing in the way of the sisters' happiness, but she doesn't really seem like that. She's kinda in the right here and Kira needs to quit being delusional about forming this sister unit. And seems like Sera is finally able to stand up for herself and quit being swept away by Kira every time. Would be nice if this leads them to being more like normal sisters.

But it'll probably still end with a bloodbath lol

This is like telling a 10 yr old kid, in the middle of their birthday, that they were the ones who accidentally killed their sister. Mishandling a touchy subject can have negative backlash and can send a person backwards instead of forwards.

What are you on about?

Sera did what had to be done, lets keep it so real. That relationship, was toxic, plain and simple. Kira was constantly reminding her how inferior she felt to her despite literally being in a famous idol group...

And Sera failed to ever tell her how her auditions are going in reality because Kira would play into her superiority complex by feeding her constant compliments and also be more assertive than her, all but stopping any progress on getting out of the unhealthy cycle, and also to an extent not wanting to hurt her, which is noble, but again, just continues the cycle.

Love or hate her, Himuro telling Sera to finally break the ceiling on the actual reality of the matter to her younger sister was the only way that cycle would finally break, there's family matters and then matters that need external assistance (therapy, but aince most cant afford that, sometimes friends and other family members are considered).

This falls so heavily beyond what the two of them couldve solved by themselves, so while Himuro couldve been better with her approach, she did what had to be done, and Sera finally managed to break the cycle.

I fail to see what Sera did wrong there by finally breaking the truth to her honestly.
