@AAASSS1 Well, there's the whole bit back in chapter 2 where Inari Okama pretty much manifested in her dreams and directly said 'look out for Tamamo' and made it so they'd have seats next to each other. Plus the whole 'met the sisters as a kid' scene from two chapters ago. Probably are more instances, but those are the ones I remember directly.

@AAASSS1 I'd say the time the mini-Tama furball managed to possess her counts as well as what @Dakkan mentioned already. Easily being possessed is one of the shrine maiden/priestess traits in other Japanese stories, such that the characters often need protection from things that go bump in the night either via charms and such or other characters in the series.

Youre right, its mentioned quite a few times in those side boxes in various chapters that she could be a good shrine maiden.

Theres something else to that too, Im not sure if we're supposed to take it as a lighthearted joke, or if its actually forshadowing, but in chapter 11 and 12 Nakki is said to be faster than tammano in fox form, then nakki is shown to be great at every sport on her first try, and before that she reads the ill intentions of the people trying to get tam to join their clubs.

Is this a blessing from god or is she unknowingly some demon hunter descendant?

Some more probable forshadowing, when tam is palm-reading nakki she finds tons of symbols, nakki just assumes its tam's protection. Likely not. The bat tam uses to split the melon at the beach blessed by inari is said in the side comment to have become a divine weapon.
