Nor the fact that she won't let him leave despite the fact that he's clearly very uncomfortable there, seemingly for no reason other than "I didn't get any privacy, so you don't get any either.", even when he's clearly saying he'll pay for his own lodging?
I can't interpret that in any other way.

Tsunderes do more 'repugnant' stuff. Sometimes even beating mcs half to death. And furthermore, that is not what you call abusive.

Abusive is when someone treats you like actual crap.

MC was being snarky, being a smartass, she hit him once. Then after, she acted like a sister. She wouldn't let him leave because she's a sister and she wants to take care of him as her guardian. He even acted like a kid in the end.

'I don't want to go back to the countryside!! Nooo!!!'

It feels like you're the type of person to see another guy in a romance manga and curse the manga for bating NTR even though the guy's just a friend

You're making things way more horrible than it actually is, and commenting that, preventing some interested people to check this out.

It feels like you've got an easy sense to hate characters. Like joke once and you're like 'this character is the worst!'

That is irresponsible on so many levels. If he valued leaving the country that much then he will just have to get over being uncomfortable. If you're that uncomfy around your big sis even at that age then you have some mental problems you need to work out. My aunt walked around in just bra and panties when she lived at our house and I never felt uncomfortable because I never looked at my aunt in a sexual way. If you really want to dive into some problems then lets find out why the MC is getting turned on by his sister.

I honestly believe you have zero clue what abuse really is since I am pretty sure a spanking is abusing a child to you or any form of discipline aside from telling the kid to draw how they feel.

Yeah, plenty of characters do way more repugnant stuff, and I think that's annoying as well. I found it particularly egregious this time around because, rather than treating it like a one-page slapstick gag, the author goes out of his way to show that the MC is bleeding and cleaning the wound not once, but twice afterwards. The issue lies entirely in the presentation.

At age 18, you're are absolutely old enough to live on your own. That's not rare in the slightest, least of all for university students.
And likewise, stop projecting and putting words in my mouth. There's a big difference between spanking a child - which you also should not do, getting physical with a child is a terrible idea - and throwing something at someone hard enough to give them a nosebleed. I don't imagine the author intended for it to be abusive, but that's how it comes off to me.

Regardless, there's pretty clearly not gonna be any kind of consensus here. I really don't get why you're being so defensive regarding an, at best, mediocre manga, but leaving it at a difference of opinion is probably for the best.

The problem here is that you forgot that this is fiction. Comparing it too much to reality.

And the reason we're so defensive is because you're the type to do this to every manga that irks you just a little.

You would judge manga by their first chapter and throw out large words like 'abusive' and 'repugnant' like it's nothing.

Please remember, this is a manga.

The guy had a bleeding nose but it disappeared quickly, he didn't feel any more pain. Why? Because it's a manga.

That aside, you can excuse literally any flaw by just going "well, it's a manga." That's a pointless thing to point out. As I said earlier, the issue lies in the presentation.

This chapter isn't that amazing. I dislike how their expressions are similar and they have their mouths open most of the panels, but you treat it like the characters were demons trying to scrape away the MC's flesh.

There are good parts to it though still

It's literally a romcom. Tsunderes flying kick MCs like it's nothing. In here, the MC was hit once and then the next frames there was no pain anymore, because it's a manga.

You're trying to justify you're using of exaggerated terminology now, by pretending you were logical before.

Now, what you said is normal criticism. "The presentation is bad"

That's great.

"She's abusive. They're repugnant"

Now that's over-the-top insults. Not constructive criticism.
