The dynamic that this story is approaching the "unknown super powerful recluse" with is really fun. Normally, the rest of the world gets hints at their existence like One-Punch Man or Tokyo KINOKO while the audience enjoys near misses of comprehension for comedic effect, but this is laying it all out from the start and we're getting a peanut gallery style of tsukkomi similar to Kesa mo Yuraretemasu's train passenger group chat.

I hope it has long-term staying power, I want to see how this approach can expand on tropes.

Wasn't expecting her to purposefully be moving in a way that made it difficult for the drone to capture her fighting, thought it would just be her fighting normally and it being difficult to follow.

Ruri seems to get comfortable with talking to Mint fairly quickly it seems, it probably distracts her enough to not remember the thousands of watchers.

The "conversion of monster parts by minors is 'in principle' prohibited" explains why she's strapped for cash while being such a successful solo Explorer - I hope we get the "real in-world reason" for that, but I suspect it's to prevent kids & teens from going into dungeons trying to get money and getting in over their heads, or something. (Like "stay in school, don't go Exploring" but also for their safety and whatnot.)

But I wonder if her reason for purposefully keeping her viewer count low by exploiting her own speed + the drone cam's limitations has to do with her aunt, as well. Something like she's been told to keep herself an "unknown", for her own safety? Being this powerful while being this sheltered, I could see her aunt worrying about MC being taken advantage of or something, and while she has to do this to survive (though now I'm wondering where Auntie is), but this way she stays "hidden" and thus safe.
Some definite clues that her circumstances are being considered and thought out by the author, and that we're probably just going to get the answers later on in the narrative once Mint builds up more trust with her and "earns" a closer place to her.

Definitely fun, though. A bit of a different take on some established themes, which I will never scoff at. And the TL notes at the end are a nice little addition and bit of extra effort, which I always appreciate.

Hope it doesn't go like Tokyo KINOKO. At least the MC here seems reasonably aware of the world around her. Interactions are cute but a bit too bare so far. LOVE chat though, such a funny peanut gallery.

Why is there a handgun on page 14? I thought firearms were useless.
Heya,
The firearms we were shown to be useless in Chapter 1 are actually the ones native to Earth. As explained in this chapter, when the dungeon’s material science was being studied, they start doing R&D to develop weaponry that works against the dungeon monsters. (or that's how I interpret it)
