Think that has more to do with her training from her aunt then anything else. The aunt seems like the type to throw her students into combat and force them to survive. Sure IRL that just means a dead or severely injured student, but martial arts fictions tend tword that special kind of stupid that ignores things like logic, morality, and human rights....

NGL, most of the family members I would just hand my phone to were born in the 50s and struggle with technology. So I'm not overly worried about them intentionally doing something dubious to or with my phone xD.
