It's a happy ending indeed. I agreed with smolbaka-san, i think kaito still see himself as a guy, he just love cross dressing and just want to yuki tell him that he is beautiful.. If this has some oneshot for next years i'll be happy to read it

Yuki's end, Kaito's end and heck even Sho's end was good. It built up nicely to it.

I just dislike Mikako's end.
She still ends up being a college drop-out and a prostitute?
At the very least she managed a break from alot of her mental trauma, but she lost her friends (Yuki and Kaito).
At least give her some hope for the future like the others.

Honestly a kind of beautiful manga touching on a lot of important themes and psychological issues, and is also a heavy dramatic rollercoaster lol.

So, I read that there was a Vtuber who is voiced by a mangaka that wrote a crossdressing series called "Himegoto". I was really curious, so I looked it up. Turns out there's three interesting series with that same name as part of the title here on mangadex lol. The other one is a yuri and there's this one.

And you know what? I started reading this yesterday night and just read the whole way through when I woke up.

So yeah, it's a wild ride. But a nice one. Specially how everything kind of gets resolved, specially for best girl Yuki.

Also, I do think Kaito doesn't identify themselves as only male anymore. After all they call them "miss" and they don't mind. Even Yuki stutters to define them, so I'm gonna stick with a non-binary identity, which is something that doesn't come that often in manga.

Mikako and her book kinda remembered me it has been a while since that manga about the tragic past of an ex-pornstar updated. And that I've yet to read Shibuya Kaho's too.

PD: This ending also helped me get over with my trauma with long black haired girls that are stronger and more mischievous than they look initially and end up trying to hook up with tomboyish orange haired girls.

Weirdly specific? Check out The Feelings We Must All Endure and understand my pain.

The ending to me was actually a very good one. It seems that they are all happy and I think that’s what really matters in the end.

Holy shit what an amazing ending, this is seriously one of the best manga i ever red, even with such a great ending i still wanted a bit more, thats how good it was, these 3 characters were incredible and their arcs were all executed perfectly.

Everyone got what they wanted, Yuki got to reinvent herself, Kaito got to be a woman and Mikako found a healthier way of dealing with her trauma and accepted herself.

Honestly, props to the author, first manga I ever give a 10/10, its flawless.

honestly, i expected the ending to be the opposite of what i got. it was way better than i expected; manga tend to go for the most societally acceptive conclusion; i.e. hetero couple instead of trans girl and ex-tomboy. Like i'm so suprised it didn't end up with kaito having a realization and just "growing" out of all their trauma and gender dysphoria lol. I started screaming when I saw miss kaito in this chapter.
