From what I can tell it seemed like Akiba had a pretty severe case of narcissistic personality disorder. He might have been able to change with therapy eventually, but since he didn’t believe there was anything wrong with himself, it would have likely taken far too long. He was an active danger to those around him by the end of the story and there’s a good chance he would’ve ended up killing or severely injuring someone before the treatment was successful.

I think that without the swift translations and the community I would drop this manga a couple of times. So thank you guys for everything!

I am so worried that the autor will let Akiba to live like nothing till the end but at least slaves saved the day. Also honestly I would not mind a chapter or two about the other team leader, she looked like interesting character.

BTW I probably missed that but did they addressed the boss foot text about Shibuya?

The dream team didn't have the guts to finish this piece of shit off. Really fucking weak after witnessing and suffering under his actions. They could've killed him in the game world and there would be no evidence for a police investigation. I was half hoping Akiba would turn the tables once more for this absolute moronic act of mercy. But no, the slave girls had to finish the job in the real world and will probably end up in jail for it. Our heroes have probably killed a bunch of other humans unwittingly during the game, that were just trying to survive like them. But when it comes down to rid the world of one irredeemable, absolute evil, they go waaah I dun wanna be a murdr uhuhuh. Pathetic.
Kudos to the translator tho. Absolute neck breaking speed at which the chapters came out.

For the main characters at least, this is kinda the ideal ending.
They got out without having to bear that burden and Akiba died ingloriously and unepically in a ditch after getting shanked by side characters.
Though it's now those ex slaves that will get the trauma.

And honestly, despite my earlier bloodlust in past chapter discussions, the truly ultimate victory would be if he somehow was sent into a closed instition in order to fix that thing instead, as it would've made Akiba truly be rejected by everyone, even himself.

Anyway, still everything didn't make sense. How people can hold that suffer without bring Akiba to consult that "mental illness" or whatsoever?

From the first this still in my mind, selfish Shibuya, sadistic Adachi, the brats. And I don't know the pace still wrong. 2/10. Bad writing. If there is once a panel we can see Akiba really going to therapy to solve this stuff I can give this higher. But instead we got parents that let their minor son leave from the house while know that shit. Ahh Japan who has good society and here we are having drawer that illustrated a possibility of parents let their underaged son leaving the house while know their son has failure to treat the society.

And if anyone think ur queen is Shibuya, come on the one who start this shit is Shibuya. I don't know how people support Shibuya while in the first place Akiba just kind of guy thinking "promise is promise" Neither Adachi that selfish too when introduced, her willing to satisfy herself is something.

Would like to saying this... Akiba would be an unbeatable businessman that ready to done good or bad things, still this guy need fixed. But instead what we got shitty treat like he didn't deserve it.

Still, never said translator done bad things, translator done the best thing (speed run brother 🔥🔥🔥)

I hope I won't read this kind of story again, since every thing little fast paced too (how to brat and sister can reconcile that fast) (how Adachi suddenly liking Shibuya while her intention at first to treat her badly) (and I think the siscon Minato is right, more faster he done more better the result they have now)

And we need to know, from all of them the one who live recently by theirself only Akiba, and the brats (brats have more than a member) (yeah ik this last paragraph didn't make sense)

Considering the situation, it really was the best possible ending. At the end of the day, the glasses nerd was a psycho with a selective hearing. No matter how much logic is drilled into his head, he only hears what he wants to hear, and he will never change. No doubt that if left alone, he will eventually fall into some other bullshit that leads to either the main crew, who have found genuine happiness, to be tormented or blackmailed by him some more, and the cycle continues. We were lucky that he pissed off a whole lot more than just our main crew, who have no real willingness to kill for the greater good.

Big ol' karma bomb happened here, and good for it

What about people who died in previous matches tho. I thought they'd die irl if their lives become 0 in-game?

The only thing I think the ending is missing, I think, is the focus on how despite the game has been done with and they're repairing relationships and themselves, the trauma they inflicted on each other will always be remembered.

I.e. remember Ijousha no Ai ending and how MC always has to carry Midou with him regardless of how things went?

The gods told them it had no real meaning, it was just trying to bring back childhood trauma to fuel the power of despair. And ayy I'm glad you stuck around man! And yeah I agree there should have been a bit more time on the other team

So the psycho who enjoyed torturing girls and treating men like pigs gets a happy ending and the kid who basically used girls as slaves gets a happy ending but the guy who was the sole reason they won half their games gets killed because it’s just impossible for him to get friends that actually try to help him through his quite obvious psychological problems(but the others get “redemptions” ofc). Y’know since blondie only ever cares when the girls are treated like shit but it’s ok for the Bitch to beat the shit out of Akiba. Seems like half the story wouldn’t have even happened if Miss Heroine didn’t just forget about the guy who saved her for a week. (when they’re literally in the same class lol) To say he can’t change when no one ever actually has a heart to heart with him past “hey bro you were wrong and bad first” is incredibly disappointing. 4/10

Great translation tho! (Please do/help with his other works if you can)
Well... at the end of the day, all the other characters had a change of heart or admitted that they had problems and tried to do something about it to fix that,. Yet Akiba not only didn't ever admitted he was wrong on how he was acting, but also blamed everyone else for everything that happened to him. It's not only the problem that no one ever came and talked to him, it was pretty much impossible for anyone to help him with how twisted his logic was in the first place. Did Shibuya even help in the first place? No, but she was also in a horrible situation as pretty much every single character in this story, she wasn't in any capacity able to help him, not that she could do anything in the first place.
You can see in the last 10 chapters how pretty much all characters gained some type of resolve around all their problems and decided to do something about it, but Akiba just didn't care. Until the last second of his existence, he kept on goin with his psychopath behavior and reasoning and was planning how to make them all suffer, even after all that happened. And bro... the rest of the cast just spared him from dying in a horrible way, which was pretty much what he deserved.
Although, Im going to be honest and say that Akiba is just the plot device for the author to just insert his questionable fetish with torture, with to be honest was a huge turn off during all the story for me. I wanted a more elaborated story than this but I guess this was expected seen what the author has been up to.
