Seeing folks talk about how overtly horny the WN is, I'm glad they toned it down for the manga. The interactions and build in regards to romance feel nice here - while I don't know the specifics of the WN, it sounds like it is a bit much.
you’re right in that it would’ve been a little weird and in contrast with the humour of the series if he was fucking all of the girls the moment he meets them, but i do wish we’d had a little more romantic development before now
