@cor3zone
Now the girls with magic probably even have a higher skill level with it. But they can kill fish with it. He can kill orcs. He likely has higher base stats and thus can do more damage even with a lower skill level. Lets say for example (just assuming crap),
at skill level 1 you do damage as Int x 0.9
at skill level 5, you do damage as Int x 1.15
Now suppose he's Int 100 (assuming the same gain of 15 per level).
100 x 0.9 = 90 damage
Lets assume a level 20 girl gained 3 Int per level, so she has 67 Int.
67 x 1.15 = 77.05 damage
You might even assume the higher level skills have a greater AOE etc, but it still won't overcome a large difference in base stats.
Those girls are gaining levels much easier/faster than the MC is and presumably with little to no real effort til now. They are sitting at a higher level by far. Yet they're shocked by his fight with the orcs. The geeks from earlier (who are far more competent than the girls here) seemed to consider the orc a tough opponent. They've been putting in effort, probably have much higher levels still, and have real gear. They fight in a party formation.
MC has a stick(?) and killed the orcs like child's play. He is clearly more than a match for the entire geek party. And the geek party would wipe the floor with those girls.
The MC hasn't realized yet that he's the greatest cheat there. He thinks everyone else got to choose from great skills and he got stuffed with bad ones and even some demerits. But they're all useful, and he got stuffed with them. It isn't just that he has greater potential. He's greater right here, right now.
That might be his perception. Their magic might even look flashier with higher level skills. But a little exert from the novel end of chapter 2.But in a direct comparison, i.e. girl's lightning vs. MC's lightning, the girls win easily at the moment.
Those stats better than doubled from a single level up. It was all 10s except for luck before. Chances are other people's stats aren't increasing that radically from a single level up. Now he's level 7 assuming he didn't level up since 2 chapters ago.NAME Haruka human race
