I haven't even read the first chapter yet, but I'm kinda disappointed that the MC seems to be a little kid. Japan has among the strictest gun laws in the world, why would a little kid have a gun.

Also, this seems to be one of those "reincarnated and overpowered" manga. I might just drop this manga before I open the first chapter.

also why a remington shotgun thats trash harsh strong kickback and the accuracy at range is just what you would expect of a shotgun also that thing is around 7pounds
that thing was developed after ww2 and there have been far better ones since
also apparently the author has no plan that for any shotgun to stay viable at range it needs to be maintained very frequently
you know that manga with the guy that gets isekai'ed with his sniper rifle? this is worse at least that sniper rifle had a full divine support system build around it

well we can still hope for the romance but truthfully... one shota japanese and one milf elf im not expecting much from this stereotype mess

@boatymcboatface, seriously????? I live in the middle of dear hunting country and iv’e only ever seen scopes on rifles and crossbows. The only thing I’ve seen on shotguns are red dots... maybe all the people I know are just poor. I have a tactical flash light under the barrel of my mossberg 500, it’s easy to aim, whatever the bright spot in the middle of the light is on disappears when you pull the trigger, but it’s for home protection not hunting. 😉

C'mon guys you know damn well what your getting into when it's isekai + thing = story. I just appreciate how they went from "sorry bro you died" to "ok so about those cheat abilities." NGL its kinda nice to just skip all the half baked back story and characters feelings on being in a new world, bc we all know it doesn't matter for this type of manga.

Anyone familiar with the specifics of the japanese gun law concerning the question on if shotguns are easier to obtain than rifles and if there is a limit on how many firearms can be acquired?
(possible origin of the oddball option of using a scoped shotgun)

@iyu Yeah, they are, for hunting with a gun you need the a hunter permit for firearm hunting (which you cant get below the age of 20, which is more of a concern, since he really doesnt look that old xD), as well as a "normal" weapons permit (like, weapons training under the police, questioning of you and your social circle, investigation in your background, you need to buy a weapons locker, ect), after all that you can buy a shotgun from a licensed dealer to register it with the police. For a rifle you need to have a shotgun for about a decade with a good record before they let you test for "upgrading"

@MrCobalox Well, scopes on hunting shotguns aren't uncommon at all? And dont underestimate the range of shotguns, computer-games are nonsense in that regard, even normal shotguns still hit well over 20 meters and more, but his should be a rifled hunting-barrel, which can be accurate and deadly way over 150 meters with slugs... so a scope is nice to have.

@Silwith just to comment on the second part, the scope looks to be a 4 or 6 times scope going by shape. Highly doubt its anything more. Id say youre over the effective range, which would be under 100m. Now seeing a 4x scope is used for upwards of 200 meters, hes overkilling on the scope. Now if it were slugged it might reach 120 but he still woukd be overkilling on the scope. Might aswell use a 2x or a 3x.
(but yea if you really think about it, 100 meters is just over a block which is really fucking far compared to the bullshit they pull in videogames)

Edit: was just told it could be a modified gun and also checked reddit and some of the more expensive bullets can reach 300 yards or about 250 meters to
