no. but a deus ex machina solution is nearly always the worst.
the author could have easily written a solo chapter in which Maho then finds an escape item of some sort, which enables her to flee the dungeon and activate the first floor teleport stone.
then later when Fiona returns to the dungeon Maho would be waiting for her on the surface basically.

this is just an example I thought of in like 5 seconds, so there are probably better versions, but the authors version "lol she can use all the teleport stones because isekai lol" is certainly a lot worse.

Im just speculating but it seems like there was a sudden change of direction, maybe an editor or publisher pushed for change in story or maybe the author had a change of heart but it just seems bizzare.
