Thats funny. Because thats not what i was told in your discord when i asked about it there.
I don't remember if I responded to you in our Discord regarding HnG2. But just in case, here's how we work on Bookworm specifically:
-Fulldiver (TL) sometimes cache-TL while we wait for vol raw, but this isn't always the case. He wasn't able to do that for this volume, so we had to wait for him to finish TL each chapter, usually a few days to a week.
-Matt (Proofreader) is only free during weekend, so usually we're stuck for 1 first week of the month to ready the TL.
-I myself have to clean, redraw and typeset once everything's ready. Sometimes when Matt was busy and unable to proofread on time, I'd take the TL doc and type it so he proofread off the image. But this process still takes about 1 week.
-Afterward Matt & Fulldiver go through the images for QC, making adjustment if necessary. That's 1 more week.
-Finally we give the chapter to our Beta Reader (with advanced knowledge from the LN / Anime) to help avoid incorrect assumption on ambiguous stuff. This takes anywhere from a few days to a week.
As you can see, we treat Bookworm very differently from other series, because we love it and want to give it the best SL quality we could afford. There is just not enough time to go faster, so we gotta make do with what we have.
