I hope you can tell after you found the reason. I also want to know. This chapter feel funny at first but it's was one of the Myne regret.Thank you for the chapter !
I need to reread the LN, i don't remember why the fact that Myne found the potion sweet was so important
Maybe he is aiming for the good stuff. It's a very different "country" with a very different civilization. There ought to be some dangerous knowledge about new battlemagic, unknown poisons or new kind of dangerous swords or something. You know, firearms, tanks, hydrogenbombs, ect. This finding is so unexpected and the possible deposit of knowledge so vast, she still might pose a threat.Hasn't the dude already seen enough? Anything more and it has got nothing to do with any security risks Myne might pose, and everything to do with his own curiosity.
Since this is Japan where gun violence is extremely rare she probably hasn't seen oneHopefully she avoids modern weapons? haha "omg this is far more powerful then magic".
Best thing though would be being able to eat food you cant get in that world. I also wonder if she can find knowledge in books or other sources that she cant actively remember but read at some point. she might be able to make some crazy stuff. regardless though, just knowing what tech comes next allows for a roadmap and planning. would allow for rapid growth in tech. i am a bit surprised how little she is worrying about poisoning their world with future tech but i guess he can only see what she sees.
The anwser to the sweet mana potion is in fanbook 1.
Q: Why did Ferdinand seem so surprised when Myne found the synchronization potion sweet? Does the flavor change depending on one’s mana quantity?
The potion is easier to drink the more elements you share and the closer your mana quantities are, and likewise harder to drink the less elements you share and the further apart your mana quantities are, which explains why Ferdinand was so surprised. That said, Myne having the Devouring means she would find anyone’s synchronization potion easy to drink.
He's clearly lost any sense of professionalism this far in, and that's not really surprising.Hasn't the dude already seen enough? Anything more and it has got nothing to do with any security risks Myne might pose, and everything to do with his own curiosity.
Can you blame him? This goes beyond curiosity. I don't think anyone here, when shown a glimpse of a mind-blowing futuristic world beyond our wildest dreams, would simply go "Aight, I've seen the bare minimum, we can stop now."Hasn't the dude already seen enough? There is no need to see gun violence personally to see a gun when we have action films and news.Since this is Japan where gun violence is extremely rare she probably hasn't seen one
Depends on whose mind you'd be invading. Sure, the temptation to continue would be beyond great, but if it's someone you want to share a bond of mutual trust with, then it's obviously no good, unless the target person themselves wants to keep going, for whatever reason. However, if it's a little kid, you'd always need to take their words and intentions with a grain of salt. Can you blame him? This goes beyond curiosity.
