Excuse me that was UNEXPECTED at least from my point of view XD
Judging from the foreshadowing I kinda thought he'd confront her and try to make her fall for him because he didn't want anyone to ever befriend his older brother due to maybe an inferiority complex that developed through some events in childhood. I never would have thought that he didn't want people to get close to his older brother because he wants to monopolize him! Now her rival is the older brother GOODNESS
