it's not entirely true that the series ended in 6 volumes. it had a sequel called "星姫村とちょっとオトナのないしょ話" on mangacross. it didn't make it past chapter two though. apparently azuma-sensei wasn't satisfied with the forced censorship (the original series was uncensored in the mangazine) and the revisions she had to make for the web version.
