ooooh they are both thirteen! honestly that recolors my impression of hoshino and yamada a lot, from "she's a psycho and he's a worm" to "she's cruel in the way kids are, and he's awkward and judgemental in the way kids are".
now, hopefully, this series goes somewhere away from this dynamic, because i don't want to read a romcom about actual snot-nosed thirteen year olds
