Honestly I kind of like the characterization of the MCs problems with his new family. Even though we haven’t gotten deep into what the actual problems are it’s nice at least for now to see that his step father and sibling aren’t like openly antagonistic towards him or anything.

It feels more so like the manga will at least for the MC perhaps working through the sudden changes to his life and family dynamics. Along with just feeling more comfortable at least being around them.

Yeah, which is kind of sad tbh, even if I get it, as Japanese audiences tend to prefer generic developments in genres like romcoms.

Anyway, something seems off with the sister and her whole idea of wanting a "perfect family." I wonder if she’s going to end up becoming an antagonist at some point if the MC's relationship with the FMC starts affecting the family dynamic.
