I'll wait and see how it develops before I read it. I don't want to read another rom com that doesn't have meaningful progress and instead languishes in status quo.

Looks interesting I wonder how their dynamic will change as they grow comfortable to each other and/or their families

No idea how this got such high ratings. This seems like it’s going to be a mediocre manga at best. The entire main cast is basically ctrl-c, ctrl-v clichees. The MC is your typical “nice guy” introvert with no personality, no hobbies, no bitches and one “best” friend (not that it’s hard to pick a best one out of a lineup of one). Can’t say anything about his one and only blond-haired male friend since he gets zero exposition and his only purpose (in the first chapter) is as a convenient device to tell you - the reader that his (the MCs) mother remarried, and that he doesn’t wanna go home. The heroine has probably the most personality out of the main cast - she’s pretty, has a popular sister and likes to watch films on her phone. Nothing unique - just like her looks - but in the country of blind, the one-eyed is the king. Also don’t get me started on the fact that this highschooler (presumably 15 y.o.) just casually goes to a family restaurant and just sits there for 6-7 hours eating one meal, drinking soda and staring at a wall. My guy, at the very least use your phone, watch tik-tok, youtube, do drugs or whatever kids do these days. All in all, this is a pretty bad case of copy-paste writing. What I think is going to happen to this manga is that it’s going to go on for a few chapters and then gets axed, when people inevitably start dropping it. 4/10

I'll keep an eye out for future chapters, but the dialogue feels super robotic, no one talks like real people. The way she confronted him about his family matters was super obtuse. I'd have also liked to see them actually talk and develop some sort of connection, but that's too hard so we just get a time skip and now they get along lol
Don't have many expectations for this but we'll see

I've learned one thing about anime & manga over the years: if there's a girl character (or sometimes a boy) with big headphones around her neck — it means the anime or manga is shit. Idk why that is, but it's like a law of the universe, seriously.

Don't get fooled. This is a manga about escapism and cope between the typical average nip highschooler and a "beyond" beauty girl.

it's junk food, not good for u in the long term but good enough to be a filler when smth like sousou no frieren goes on hiatus 👍

Definitely changed a few things from the LN but so far its interesting. If ya'll think you'd be interested by these two chapters, I'd definitely recommend checking out the novel. Its more indepth with the interactions and thoughts.

The only thing that might be a bit of work to get used to is that the translation is a very literal one, so you might have to mentally revise some things as you read. Story is really good so far though, around chapter 72ish? Can't remember exactly.
