Immediately after reading this, I felt the urge to binge watch techmoan's channel.

As a kid I was privileged enough to own a Panasonic Rx boombox. It was a solid, sturdy appliance and every part of its construction felt high quality. It also felt futuristic thanks to its digital radio tuner. It was fantastic and I recorded many a radio show with it.

Sadly it fell victim to that most destructive of enthropic forces. The mother seeking to get rid of old junk.

Tbh I would argue that our MC here has been picking up on those hints pretty well this whole time and that's exactly why he doesn't say anything. I think he's taking into consideration her perspective of wanting to find romance in mundane things, and I think simply asking her out like everyone else would is probably not how they want it to go.

I fully expect them to get confused for a couple while out together and their version of getting together is simply going along with it, closer to how it happened in Horimiya.

Well, Miyamura straight up tells Hori "I'm in love with you. I have been for a while." after knowing her a few months.

Though it's true that soon after that, when her dad asks if they're going out, she yells back "yeah we are, got a problem with that?!". Her tendency to act angry at her dad actually helped her out in that case.
