Strange to axe a manga so hard like this and then restart with a new adaptation. I mean, yeah this one was a giant nothingburger but if that's the case why start it again unless you actually decide to try this time.

Other one doesn't have a listing here yet so can't even bookmark it in case someone grabs it up.

tbf, it's been over a year since this ended i believe? so it restarting probably isn't something that was guaranteed after this finished.

Dude... you introduce to an antagonist, elevate the stakes... and then you just end it... you give me reasons to want karma... and then the ax

So, this was just to promote the other medium right?, how i hate those

Brooooo, it can even become a 100 chapter easily with that easy going n world building, such a shame they cut it short...

*But thank for the info about the new or a reboot about this one...

So will that adaptation get axed like this as well, on the Bloody Cliffs of Hanging?
It will depend on sale number, nothing is off the table.

This adaptation however isn't axed, it's just your average promotional manga made for advertising the novel. The artist was hired by publisher to adapt a certain amount of content (usually 1 or 2 novel volumes), they simply finished their contract and moved on. The second adaptation meant the publisher considered this series somewhat promising, so they started anew without a hard cap like previous one.
