How do I handle the Follows updates?

Hi guys, new member here.
I recently started adding all the mangas I'm currently waiting on chapters on the Follow tab of the site.

I'm having abit of a hard time figuring out how to make it work.
First, if I mark the manga as "Reading" it shows all the chapters ( even the ones i've read already) on the Follows tab, that makes it hard for me to see when a new chapter gets uploaded
If I mark the manga as "Completed" it resolves this issue, but I'm not sure how I can get a notification when a new chapter is uploaded.

What I managed to do is to add a RSS feed link that gives me a notification when something changes, even on a manga tagged as completed. BUT I still get a notification on all the languages, so I get multiple notifications on the same chapter.

Is there a easier way to handle this list? Can I change some setting to hide some languages from showing up on a RSS feed notification?

@Zhargard For languages, this is how you set your filter:

[*]Click: Your Name in the top right corner (obviously when logged in).
[*]Click: Settings.
[*]Click: Filter Settings tab.
[*]Default filter languages Dropdown: Click the languages you want to see.
[*]Click: Save

Your follows will only show the languages you set up in your filter. The Follows RSS Feed provided by Mangadex will also update to these settings.

For your follows, I don't really have good advice about that (I don't really understand). The Follows lists always show new chapter uploads at the top (Latest Updates tab) , so they shouldn't be lost among older chapters. Perhaps as a new user as you catch up on your reading, you'll only need to check what appears as new/unread near the top?
Maybe categorizing series into the other lists will make it more manageable.

Thank you very much Noms, I was misinterpreting how that language filter worked, I had it the other way around.
