So gay Kan-kun literally has the butthurt, because he was ostracized for wanting his butt hurt, and is all bent out of shape, because lezzie borden is a pure soul, and gets away with it...

Boo hoo, cry me a river Kan...I hate to say it this way, but man the fuck up, and be as gay as you want...you are an adult, so quit acting like an emo ponsy fop, assert yourself properly, and quit acting like a dick.

Atleast Kan knows he's being an asshole and is somewhat ashamed of his behavior. He's just alone and doesn't have any one he can to to help him sort out his feelings. Everyone else in this manga has at least 1 or more people that they talk to when they start having issues, Kan at this point doesn't.

Why are some comments overly dramatic in regards to the guy? I could understand if he had done them any significant harm but as far as I remember the most he did were somewhat dickish comments. Or did I forget something?

Okay, suddenly this guy's douchebaggery makes 100% sense. Good catch, guys, I missed the conversion therapy hint. Better a self-hating gay type than a genuinely evil type; at least the former has a realistic chance of changing his attitude one day. (When he was first introduced, I wondered if he would be a manipulative character.)

okayyyy, never mind being my favorite character in this manga. kan is easily one of my favorite characters ever. i usually forget all about the characters in a manga i read, but i feel like he's going to leave a lasting opinion. i get the hate, but i feel like i like him for the reason he's hated. he's a necessary evil, everybody (besides that one short-haired blonde girl and rika through a one-off statement) has been treating miwa like some goddess that can do no wrong, and everybody accepts their relationship. kan is simply the only one to push back and cause conflict outside of miwa's annoying "boohoo, i want to change".
