@SmartBirb I don’t think it was even revealed to be a photo until just a few chapters ago. Lala’s just being blackmailed with some photo by her stalker “boyfriend”, and she did the same to protag until a couple chapters ago.

This chapter did actually make me dislike Lala more than before, even though she had been improving somewhat lately. As another comment pointed out, her being blackmailed with a photo is the exact same as the MC being blackmailed by her. Whereas she is given the opportunity to repent and improve as a character, the guy is not given any such opportunity and remains an asshole. Basically shows that Lala is willing to be an asshole too.

@comeonnow0 Cycle of violence is a thing, I guess. I think something inside of her just broke and she misdirected that anger towards another person. It's MC that broke that cycle by standing up for himself and teaching her to get out of her shell and stop doing what others expected of her

@Tamerlane Agreed on cycle of violence. However, I can recognize that she is BOTH a victim as well as a perpetrator. Yes, it does lessen some of the criticism against her, but it does not erase it. Same way in real life. People can be both victims and perpetrators. We can understand both without ignoring one.

I’m sure the weirdo has a backup of the photo, but it’s useless now that the person they’re trying to blackmail doesn’t care.

I don’t know why the MC doesn’t fight back. Also, how the hell is the weirdo so careless that the MC grabbed the flash drive from his hand? Usually, people are very alert or quick to react when someone tries to grab something from them.
