I love it HAHAHHAA call me revengeful but this isn't even a fraction of what FL felt in her past life! Let him eat the cake alone 😏

I feel... a bit torn... Like I wished sweet, delectable vengeance upon the father of the ‘past’... but I feel bad for the current father because this version has some hints of his memory and regret from the previous run. Was he like this all along? Wishing to interact with his daughter but unable to due to his status as head of the family? Or did the ‘past’ regret change him somehow. Anyhow, I do hope the “misunderstanding” (if you can even call it that at this point) is resolved in a satisfying way.

I pity the father, but it is his own doing. I wish for them to reconcile since revenge doesn't always make you feel any better. However, I would completely understand her not being able to accept that.

So........ Cutting your daughter's head was you not meddling in your childrens' affairs? Or not showing affection to them?

Tho I don't agree with this guy, I just thought of something (no, I'm not trying to redeem this guy at all): what if (WHAT IF) he did care for Keira? (with that ridiculous restriction of "the head of the Parvis family can't show normal affection to their children") and he started to ignore Keira more than usual just to protect her from his "other daughter"? What if he knew about what
previous spoilers had said and to prevent Keira getting hurt he did all that? Not that it worked at the end

I hate the father but at the same time I'm not against it if he wants ro reconnect with his daughter. I would totally understand if keira doesn't accept him even after all that though

no asshole you beheaded your daughter don't act like a fucking tsundere because you are not. it wasn't a mere "i don't know how to show affection and i don't wanna meddle in my child's affairs"
i am disgusted.

@ jaellasster yess this is what I’m thinking. When he said “oh I don’t know how to show affection and bc of the family I can’t blah blah blah..” piece of shit still beheaded her. What justification is there for that? Tough love? Ha don’t make me laugh..... if he did it out of his own free will then I really don’t give a shit for him in any time line

@ Browniewhiz her actions now are not vengeful she’s just trying to survive and she’s stopped caring for her dad. She honestly couldn’t care less for that guy and that’s why she’s like that. I’m w/ you on understanding if she doesn’t accept him even after him putting 💯 effort bc she still died once and it was her reality and she felt that plus all those years of neglect (even if he was taking care of her in the background using his butler as a substitute, it doesn’t even matter bc he didn’t show it)

@lolawhiterabbit that’s what I thought at first, and I couldn’t help but always be disgusted by him when he showed any sort of care towards her after what he did. However, seeing his actions continue to show as though he did hold an affection towards her made me think about the possibility of him being controlled/having his memory tampered. But then again his expression he made when she was executed didn’t fit well with this theory because it showed he was in control of himself somewhat, even if that expression he made was a pained one, or it could be just that his feelings overwhelmed any sort of magic cast over him at that point in time. I say this bc we dunno where that other red eyed b*tch came from and we don’t know what more she is capable of or those who may be backing her. All I’m saying, we don’t know everything (nonetheless I still can’t help but feel a bit of saltiness/annoyance towards him as a father).

PHEW THAT WAS LONGER THAN I THOUGHT

To be honest, I cannot pity him one bit. Now that she doesn't give a shit about his father, he is showing emotions? What a crappy self-centered dude... I mean, yeah, he may deep down care for his daughter, but at the end of the day, he "killed" her in the worst way possible. He could have removed her titles or do something else (that would still have been wrong), but noooo, he wanted her dead.... naaaaaa, even if there is a redemtion arc there is no way I can forgive him

I will be perpetually pissed at this man; he has vague memories of the past timeline, rudely rejected his daughter’s affection as a neglectful parent, acts like a hypocrite when bitch #2 comes in, kills her with no remorse, and when she’s moved on you’re upset??????? No go away let her live her life

Awww, the man is trying to feel remorse, suffer more you bastard!

He did something irredeemable when he ordered her execution. Outside of becoming a full doormat, throwing away all his pride and letting her run utterly roughshod over him for decades, he ain't paying that back.

Truthfully, it would be fitting for a misunderstanding to happen, Keira to exercise her contingency plan, and for everything to come crashing down on her father's head. At least karmatically

@aitak : We don't see his expression in actual the last moment in ch 1 (we only see him next to the bitch, but not his expression)
Him ordering her execution is likely the same as when Keira think she must do X to be proper: He is the duke, and the people demands the 'fake' be executed and he could not find anything to change the situation.

I think his face on ch 5 is the one telling his real feeling in all this.
He thought that even if Cosette looked like the old wife, Keira is his daughter and once her power awaken the truth will be revealed, that's why he thought there was no need to worry.
Then that happened (though I do wonder why didn't Keira also show her power? The chapter implied that she also awakened to the power so if she just revealed hers there would've been room to argue back)
As for why he's silent about it: Reminder that he is her father, and she very much inherited that social skill lv 0 from him...

I think it's a bit ironic that the people call for his suffering are basically acting just like those people calling for Keira's death before.
