As far as I know, those are only novel spoilers. There's a huge chance that the manhwa will follow the same path, but if the novel received the same backlash (I have no clue if it did, but wouldnt be surprised if Korean readers also disliked at least the no-romance) then there's a considerable chance of the manhwa changing up a bit of the upsetting points. Many novel adaptations aren't fully accurate to the source material.
