I dont like her... i dont like her one bit. literally any of the other girls then chiharu would be better. Personally i like the smart gyaru with the smell fetish or the model lady the most followed up by minato.

it be one thing if chiharu generally saw her as a friend but naw she loves mei and knew mei loves her and then what does she do? crushes her first love and inflicts a likely lifelong bad memory because she is too shy... fuck off

okay yeah chiharu is definitelyyyyy endgame lol it's clear as day now, even if its probably gonna take a while to get there
Yeah, that was pretty much my first impression the first time Chiharu actually showed up. Feels like all the other girls are just here to bump up Mei's confidence so she can confess again at the end. Poor girls... Luckily they can find solace with each other though.

I wonder if the high school crush is struggling to be in a relationship because she can't come to terms with her orientation. Also she might still be hung up on mei.

What happened really sucks for mei but I can't blame someone who's struggling with that too much. It must be so hard :meguuusad:
She's definitely still hung up on Mei. The two have way more history than any of the other girls so far (obviously) and they feel like the end game pairing ever since her first actual appearance.

A sixth sense.

In all seriousness if the author ever establishes one for her I’d bet its something like “love”. Non sexual, purely romantic love.
Which makes her the winner, I think, especially given the title of the manga. Since despite her horniness, Mei does say at the very start that she wants a girlfriend, and Chiharu is definitely in the lead by a country mile on that front. She just needs to get her own harem of lesbian cuties to give her the confidence to go through with it with Mei.

Me: "Oh, the friend is probably hetero and felt guilty she couldn't reciprocate physical intimacy to her female friend whom she deeply cares for"

Everyone in comments: "She must be asexual or Bi!"

Thanks for the chapter!
Honestly I think you can read it both ways. A fine line between deeply loving your friend and romanticly loving them. But my bet is in asexual because the crying seemed to indicate a bit more than friendship.

I hope Chiharu won't be a recurring character. I'm usually biased to the childhood friend adjacent character, but she seems more inline with the suddenly appearing love interest to [add drama/pad runtime/force confession by main love interest] trope.
