I can understand why they dropped but it just hurts the popularity of the series. Waiting months for first 5 chapters which was already scanlated and then a year for it to catch up to the scanlated chapters is just stupid when manga might already be finished. The same thing happened with Watayuri (which Fortunately someone picked up) and hikikomari which seems to be gaining some attraction now.

I gotta say, it’s always bittersweet to see a series I enjoy reading scanlated get picked up for an official translation. On one hand, I’m quite glad that the series is gaining extra recognition, and the creator(s) being compensated. At the same time, as a NEET who is thoroughly buried in the closet of both weeb and yuri content, it also means likely losing access to the given work.

None the less, it’s for the best interest of the series and its creators, so, as somebody who just freely snags whatever I can, I’m in no moral position to complain. I also definitely think it’s a respectable choice on the part of the scanlators, regardless of whether the motivations stem from either moral or legal concerns.

Anyways, another good chapter, even if it can be a bit painful just how much of a dense blockhead the protagonist can be. Also, I must say, the roommate has my favorite character design and expressions, but I can’t quite decide who my favorite pairing overall is. One can hope for the poly route, though I very much doubt things will go that direction. Here’s hoping we may get a chance to meet in a discussion thread for the continuation some time in the future!
