I saw in the suggestions that one was intended for the planned features: "Add theme that only uses greyscale colours to make MD render properly on e-readers."

So, apart from Dex-Chan and some tweaking of the luminosity levels, I think this would be it

Oh yeah, also the pages and previews all need to be grayscaled, but that should be relatively simple with a CSS Filter.

It wasn't that difficult to do, just balancing the colour to look good while in grayscale, as simply nulling the saturation might result in colours looking too similar, but it's eyeable.
What was the issue you had with creating a bright pink theme?

The translate addon on my browser told me that they were a fan of the thing I did and seemed to have trouble making a bright pink theme.

There are quite a few pink ones that I actually tried, none matched what I want and I personally don't feel like modifying them is very practical and easy, so I'll just make do with the regular black one.
Please, do share what you make if you manage to create a theme you like; I'm also interested in the pink color, haha.

Yeah, I don't find the customisation page for themes very practical or easy to understand; I'm not surprised someone else also had a hard time.
