I dont understand the people who hate on kami no kodomo/ child of god. Its "edgy" and grotesque but it has an interesting art style aswell as it has a easy to follow story. Its definitely gross and isnt alot other than shock stuff (hence the easy to follow story) but i think its honestly a good quick read if you like that stuff. (TW:sexual violence, and child murder/torture.)

I read the first three chapters, and to me, it feels like it’s trying to be edgy just for the sake of being edgy. So I think the "hate" it gets is warranted, and maybe that’s exactly what the author wanted.

I feel like its definitely a little warranted however i feel like alot of it is just hating for the sake of hating I mainly like it for its experimental art style if im honest, the story is easy to follow and is pretty shallow, I feel like however if it wasnt as shallow it may have been cool. The first 3 chapters sucked tho imo they were definitely just edgy to be edgy
