There is undeniable proof that at some point she has communicated with the goddess: she can produce the "Tears of the Goddess" and she has been confirmed by the only person who has met the goddess. By belief, the people of Rueda can't fathom that someone sent by the goddess (remember, they still call her an angel, that's an envoy) would lie or fabricate the words of the goddess in fear of divine punishment (they don't understand the goddess doesn't give a crap about humans). That's the reasoning I'm following at least.

Not really war crimes, the fields are usable, just empty, is not like the soldiers can farm for months and resume the march, the poisoned water well was probably done with a potion and can be reverted in the same way.
No one died (yet) and the damage to villages is all easy to fix, the kingdom will probably throw in some compensation and Kaoru could personally give some super cure for peace of mind.
She is just bringing down morale and carving a trauma in the enemy, "don't mess with us, you are crawling to the ground and we aren't even trying to kill you".
This way everyone will really think hard about going against her.

I must've missed that panel. From what I can remember, she only talked to the goddess once and vaguely affirms the assumption of the other "touched" individual. Remember that scene was for the local church to see if the girl is legit or not and how our MC handled it was that she searched for the common ground that they both remember.

In the meeting however, she claims things the goddess, to us readers, never mentions nor tell her in a celestial conversation. Worst off, they believe it like it's gospel. If she believe that they are rotten, then it's apparent that they'd de-legitimize her because her potion is restricted to one country. From my memory, her potions haven't crossed the border and only the executive positions are aware of the product. It's not as if alchemy is never a thing in this world, why not label it as that? The angle of "she's just an alchemist who have learned advanced techniques" is a believable case by those who are already a devout member of the church.

Everything she does is telling the plot what's gonna happen next. There's no resistance requiring her to work her ass off to circumvent the issue. It's been happening for a while now and I fear the pile is getting bigger.

@Tamed Don't worry dude, it only gets worse from here. Also she originally started in a neighboring country, then crossed over. Thus that little prince who wants to marry her. So technically, knowledge and usage of her potions has existed in a separate country.

Beyond that she starts selling potions n shit but putting a timestamp on them. So they can easily travel anywhere, but expire so they can't be used for war purposes.

Kaoru is the type of heroine the world needs. Does whatever she has to in order to get the job done.

By speaking with the lady who has met the goddess in the past and confirming with her that they both remmember the same things about the goddess, so she must have really met her. This is more or less public knowledge (it's known in the Holy Country, and in the rest they have met the result of the "Tears of the Goddess", so no confirmation is needed and her value is not based on the divine). He may, or may not be rotten, but the fat guy actually believes that the Holy Country is blessed by the goddess, so going agains her will is absurd. Also, he actually thinks Kaoru is an envoy of the goddess. Due to him being unable to challenge the will of the goddess (because he actually believes in her) and because he thinks the goddess would punish any impostor working on her name (because he still thinks that the goddess actually cares about the world and every individual in it), an envoy of the goddess cannot lie. If at that point he declares Kaoru is lying, he is then declaring that Kaoru is not an envoy by the goddess and so she has no value and relocating her to the Holy Country has no meaning. This is not explicitly stated in the manga (nor I think it's in the novel), but it's human thoughtflow analysis. He is not a villain, he actually thinks he is acting for the greater good.

That is right. That's why most of the situations work in her favour. Most people can't deny her, because she would either loose her worth to them or they really have to believe it because of all the other "evidence".

Uh-huh. All of which you wrote isn't convenient at all. Okay, I'll just go with that mindset except ch.18 already killed any interest I had left. I won't support an advocate for violence against boyscouts. Those poor souls only wanted to expand through the power of milk and cookies and they were met with an explosive end.

let me preface this by saying that i am enjoying this manga.

while i appreciate the massive text-dumps explaining what's actually going on (see chapter 16.2), it makes me question why it's necessary in the first place.
is it done by the translator or the author?
if it's by the author, that means reader comprehension has been poor enough to necessitate it, which i think speaks to an issue with the work itself.
if it's done by the translator then god damn i appreciate you having read the LN because without that background knowledge that's glossed over in the manga this would be much less interesting.

Yeah chapter 19 confirms beyond a doubt this series is a fucking trainwreck of a joke.

Literally every character exists to make the MC look better. Literally. Every. Character. Go ahead. I dare you to name to a single character in this series that does not demonstrate the MC's supremacy in all things. You can't. Every single character exists in relation to the MC's greatness. The MC is smarter than every one in the entire world, she's besties with a fucking god, she can cure/heal anything, and she can now apparently kill people just by saying "Die". Yeah, nah, dropped, I'm out, its not even a funny ironic read anymore its just bad and the author should feel bad.

How did she kill them? So does she literally just places things in her item box into the lungs of people. Whelp too OP that the manga is getting a bit excessive.

@nulify

Kaoru can summon anything thats related to liquid. So she basicly just summoned them inside her enemies. But holy crap she's brutal when she gets pissed off.

@Mebravo They surely are. If something as light as this get's treated as a war crime and the character get's compared with Hitler.
@nullify Instead of summoning potions she made inside enemy soldiers, I believe she treated their internal organs as containers and created her potions within it.
