What is with Japan seeing people arguing / fighting and remarking that they get along well?
No, Japan. If people are arguing / fighting / engaging in adversarial or hostile interaction, that generally indicates that they do NOT get along well. How can you even get something so utterly backwards, Japan? Just how far up your own arse do you have to be as a culture to believe that overt displays of antagonism indicate affection?
