Oh, man. This chapter made my dislike for Gotou increase so much more than I thought it would when I pictured her visiting.

Not only is she manipulative and disingenuous, she comes across so two-faced and intrusive; like she's pissing all over things to mark her territory and sticking her nose where it doesn't belong. Even making snide side-comments and insinuations and hiding behind a smile with a: "lol jk'.

It's not wromg to want to meet Sayu and chat, but her approach is just volatile and self-serving -- it's not her place.

Gotou is the most rational of them all in this situation - She knows that Yoshida will more or less defend Sayu when asked the million dollar question.
So had him go away for a better discussion.

I find it confusing how Gotou is being hated in this situation, I mean in her point-of-view, Sayu is a stranger that is mooching off a guy that haven't even experienced a serious relationship yet.
Even if Sayu has her motive, Gotou doesn't know it. The weird thing about this is that even us, the reader, still don't know her motives yet people kept on insisting she's in the wrong.

Meanwhile I disliked Gotou since chapter 1. I don't like girls who play games, ain't nobody got time for that.

For the record, Sayu knew full well what the real question was when she was asked "Could we talk in private".

In other words, since she agreed to that she was ready to talk about being a runaway, which was out in the open at that point.

Gotou also immediately backed down when one of Sayu's answers was "I don't want to talk about that" so how is Gotou overstepping bounds? Sounds like an inquiry that two sides agreed upon and a boundary was raised suddenly on one end and respected on the other. I think this was handled maturely overall.

P.S. For the record I don't like any of the girls, but the kouhai is my least disliked because at least she's honest and open (even about her lack of work ethic....).

She's not diagnosed or even considered in serious trauma to be cared like a vase until she speaks about it.
If MC really cared for her, after she noticably calms down he should ask what her problems, analyze their severity and give her a deadline.

i was a little suspicious of gotou last chapter but these are questions that needed to be asked and answered. in the end, sayu is still hiding a lot of things and yoshida just had his own secret blown wide open for others to see. hell even sayu's new friend told yoshida to be careful of sayu. things cannot stay the same. people's motivations need to be made clear. i think people are letting their waifu-brain take over when they're comparing girls.
